Democrats slammed for not shutting down ‘Squad’ ‘antisemitism’ after synagogue clash: ‘There’s a connection’

Fox News contributor Marc Thiessen known as out the Democratic caucus on “America’s Newsroom” Monday for not shutting down “antisemitic” rhetoric from the “Squad” after Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y.’s, profanity-laced rant towards a pro-Israel advocacy group throughout a rally alongside Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., over the weekend. Thiessen mentioned the rhetoric is emboldening “mobs” after clashes outdoors a Los Angeles synagogue.

MARC THIESSEN: Can you think about if a sitting congressman stood up at a rally and mentioned, we will present the effing NAACP the facility of this district? What the outrage could be, and that is the issue, is that the Democratic Party has not policed its motion and has allowed antisemitism to fester within the halls of Congress. It’s Jamaal Bowman, it is the remainder of the “Squad.” You know, if someone had executed what he did and focused Black folks, they’d have been kicked off of their committees, they’d be shunned by the Democratic caucus. When Representative Steve King, again in 2019, mentioned,” I don’t understand what’s the problem with white supremacy and white and all the rest of it,” he was kicked off of all of his committee by the Republicans in Congress. Why have not the Democratic management in Congress executed the identical to Jamaal Bowman for this? Why have not they executed that with Ilhan Omar? Why have not they executed that with the remainder of the “Squad”? They tolerate antisemitism of their ranks, after which they’re stunned when an antisemitic mob surrounds a synagogue in Los Angeles and beats Jews. There’s a connection between these two issues. 

During a speech within the Bronx riddled with expletives, Bowman lashed out towards the American Israel Public Affairs Committee Political Action Committee (AIPAC), the pro-Israel advocacy group supporting his Democratic main challenger, Westchester County Executive George Latimer.

“We are going to show f—ing AIPAC, the power of the motherf—ing South Bronx!” Bowman mentioned at Saturday’s rally held in St. Mary’s Park in Mott Haven. “People ask me why I got a foul mouth. What am I supposed to do? You’re coming after me! You’re coming after my family! You’re coming after my children! I’m not supposed to fight back?”

“We’re going to show them who the f— we are!” he added, leaping across the stage.

Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., rallied for Bowman in a present of progressive assist, because the incumbent Democrat lags behind Latimer by double digits forward of Tuesday’s main to characterize New York’s sixteenth congressional district, which incorporates Westchester County and parts of the Bronx.
