For the second time in about a week, a New Jersey council member was found shot to demise in a car.

Councilman Russell Heller, 51, was in his car in the parking zone of the PSE&G facility in Somerset County when a former employee approached his car and shot him, in line with a assertion from the Somerset County prosecutor’s workplace.

Police acquired a number of 911 calls Wednesday and found the councilman, who represents Milford, inside the car, the assertion stated.

Police recognized the shooter as former worker Gary T. Curtis, 58, the prosecutor’s workplace stated.

Hours later, police found Curtis in a close by city and, after they approached the automobile, they found Curtis with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the assertion stated. Curtis was declared dead at the scene.

Last week, one other New Jersey council member was shot and killed.

Eunice Dwumfour, 30, was a Republican councilwoman in the borough of Sayreville.

She was found dead with a number of gunshot wounds final Wednesday night, Middlesex County officers stated.

Police haven’t established any connection between the two shootings.
