Ali Fazal, Gerard Butler’s ‘Kandahar’ to release on May 26

Hollywood film Kandahar, starring Gerard Butler and Ali Fazal, will hit the theatres in India on May 26.

This might be Fazal’s first worldwide release in 2023 after last year’s Death on the Nile.

Directed by Ric Roman Waugh, greatest identified for helming movies Angel Has Fallen, Felon and Greenland, the film is predicated on the screenplay Waugh developed with former army intelligence officer Mitchell LaFortune.

The story is impressed by Mitchell’s experiences on the Defense Intelligence Agency in Afghanistan.
