Former England cricket captain Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff has been hospitalized after an accident during filming of the favored motoring present “Top Gear.”

The incident occurred on the Dunsfold Aerodrome observe in Surrey, southern England, which options recurrently within the BBC present.

“Freddie was injured in an accident at the Top Gear test track yesterday morning – with crew medics attending the scene immediately,” a BBC spokesperson informed CNN on Wednesday.

“He has been taken to hospital for further treatment and we will confirm more details in due course.”

Flintoff, who has been a number of “Top Gear” since 2019, introduced his retirement from all types of cricket in 2010, at age 32, due to a long-standing knee harm.

The spotlight of his cricket profession got here in 2005, when he impressed England to win the Ashes again from Australia, the primary time they’d overwhelmed their rivals in 18 years.

Flintoff isn’t the primary “Top Gear” host to be injured during filming.
