German actor Christian Friedel performs Rudolf Hoess, the commandant of Auschwitz, the place over 1.1 million individuals had been murdered within the largest of the focus camps and extermination centres constructed by the Nazis in occupied Poland.

“The Zone of Interest,” which will probably be distributed by A24, is Glazer’s first function since 2013’s “Under the Skin” starring Scarlett Johansson and was shot fully in Auschwitz.
