Greek police have arrested five individuals in connection with the murder of Przemyslaw Jeziorski, a professor at UC Berkeley. Among those arrested are Jeziorski’s ex-wife and her current partner.

Jeziorski was shot on July 4 while visiting Athens for a custody hearing related to his children. He was killed in a suburb close to his ex-wife’s home. Witnesses reported seeing a masked gunman approach the victim and fire multiple shots. Police found seven bullet casings at the scene.

Jeziorski, 43, was well-regarded in his field. He taught data analytics for over 13 years at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. His family is now raising funds to repatriate his body to Poland and cover legal expenses in Greece. They expressed their heartbreak and commitment to seeing justice served.
