India’s ladies’s doubles pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and N Sikki Reddy on Friday beat British duo of Chloe Birch and Lauren Smith in a hard-fought three-game encounter to finish their marketing campaign on the BWF World Tour Finals with a comfort win. The Indian duo misplaced their earlier two group stage matches in straight video games and therefore completed a poor third in group B failing to qualify for the semi-final stage. Ashwini Ponnappa and N Sikki Reddy needed to battle onerous to win the opening sport edging previous their opponents 21-19.
