Cyrus Mistry Death Case: Court Rejects Petition Against Doctor Driving Car

Cyrus Mistry was travelling from Ahmedabad to Mumbai when his automotive hit the divider.

Mumbai:

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) looking for a culpable murder cost towards gynaecologist Dr Anahita Pandole in industrialist Cyrus Mistry’s demise case.

Anahita Pandole has been accused within the demise of Cyrus Mistry as she was driving the latter’s automotive when the accident befell close to Mumbai on September 4, 2022.

Balasaheb Patil, Superintendent of Police, Palghar on January 6 stated that police had submitted 152-page proof within the Cyrus Mistry demise case.

The Palghar Police in Maharashtra had registered a case towards Dr Pandole for negligence and rash driving on the day of the accident.

According to Palghar Police, Mistry was travelling from Ahmedabad to Mumbai when his automotive hit the divider. There have been 4 individuals within the automotive. Two died on the spot, together with Mistry, whereas the opposite two have been shifted to hospital.

Apart from Mistry, one other deceased was recognized as Jahangir Dinsha Pandole.

The automotive during which Cyrus Mistry was travelling misplaced management as a result of overspeeding and rammed into the divider stated Palghar Police then.

Mistry, who was the sixth chairman of Tata Sons, was ousted from the place in October 2016. He had taken over because the chairman in December 2012 after Ratan Tata introduced his retirement. N Chandrasekaran later took over as Executive Chairman of Tata Sons.
