A defamation case has been filed against Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan after chief made ‘objectionable’ feedback against the ward and village volunteers at Eluru on July 9.

A girl volunteer said in her petition that Mr. Kalyan’s allegation that the volunteers had been concerned within the disappearance of girls, women and human trafficking brought on her psychological agony and tarnished the picture of the lakhs of volunteers rendering authorities companies.

The case was registered underneath Sections.499, 500, 504 and 505 of the Indian Penal Code, with a requirement that Mr. Kalyan ought to corroborate his allegation within the court docket. 

The State Government stated that Mr. Kalyan’s owed an evidence over the wild allegation against the volunteers.

Also, the AP Women’s Commission had issued notices to Mr. Kalyan, saying that by making a sweeping comment on the feedback, he meant to create a sensation to derive political mileage.
