Most of our conversations at home is peppered with Coimbatore kusumbu and Kumbakonam slang and its so much fun,” she laughs including that she’s going to proceed to make movies that gladden hearts. While her writing course of is easy, she spends extra time on analysis to pack in the particulars. “In Minmini, the lead actors are bikers in the second half. So I learnt to ride a bike. Working on such details gives me the kick and makes the writing process as exciting.”

Looking again at her personal childhood, Halitha who’s from Dharapuram close to Coimbatore says it was liberating to go away the innocence behind and enter maturity. However, she enjoys the firm of kids. “I love their humour, self-parody and a carefree attitude towards life.”
