CHICAGO (March 11, 2025) – The U.S. Men’s National Team, led by head coach Mauricio Pochettino, is set for the 2025 Concacaf Nations League semifinals. They’ve just announced their roster of 23 players who will compete for the title. The first match is against Panama on March 20 at 7 p.m. ET at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Fans can catch all the action live on Paramount+ and Univision.
In another semifinal, Mexico will face Canada. The winners will clash for the championship on March 23. The U.S. team is excited to chase their fourth consecutive CNL trophy.
“This is a massive opportunity,” Pochettino said. “Winning this trophy is our goal. We must show our quality, bravery, and commitment to each other.” The players will report to Los Angeles on March 16, focused on representing their country and fans.

Experienced Squad

Six MLS players from the January Camp are also in this squad, including Patrick Agyemang, Diego Luna, and Brian White, who are all making their debut in a FIFA international window.
USMNT History in CNL
The U.S. is the only team to have won the CNL championship in its first three editions. In the 2021 final, standout performances from Gio Reyna, Weston McKennie, and Christian Pulisic helped secure a 3-2 victory over Mexico. Their 2023 semifinal win against Mexico was marked by Christian Pulisic’s two goals, while the final saw goals from Chris Richards and Folarin Balogun, leading to a 2-0 victory over Canada.
Facing Panama
The U.S. and Panama have a long-standing rivalry, with this being their 29th meeting. The U.S. has a strong record, winning 18 matches, while Panama has also proven to be a tough opponent, winning two out of their last three encounters.
About the Concacaf Nations League
The Concacaf Nations League was created to enhance competitive play among the 41 member nations. The 2024-25 season features a new format, including more elimination matches that lead to continental competitions. The U.S. competes in League A, which has expanded to 16 teams.
