SRINAGAR: An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, police stated.
Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Goosu village of Pulwama following details about presence of terrorists there, a police official stated.
He stated the search operation become an encounter after terrorists opened firing in direction of security forces positions.
There had been no reviews of any casualties up to now.
