Former New York Times opinion editor Adam Rubenstein scolded his ex-employer for not adequately protecting controversial remarks by Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., who stated final yr that claims Hamas raped ladies through the terror assaults of October 7 was “propaganda.”

The New York Times didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.

Bowman apologized for the remarks, based on Politico. He now faces Westchester County Executive George Latimer in a single of the most costly House primary races in U.S. historical past. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, one other far-left “Squad” member, has condemned AIPAC for spending thousands and thousands to oust Bowman.
