Experience the Excitement: Decca Live Entertainment Venue Now Open in Downtown Jacksonville!

A historic building on Bay Street in Jacksonville has been transformed into a lively music venue called Decca Live. Once a hardware store serving ships, this brick structure now hosts an exciting space for entertainment.

The grand opening took place recently, with the owners and the mayor celebrating at 323 Bay St. in the vibrant riverfront district. The venue has been designed across multiple levels, featuring a spacious first floor dedicated to the main stage. The second floor offers a mezzanine layout with balconies, allowing guests a great view of the performances below. To top it off, there’s a rooftop bar that overlooks the St. Johns River.

Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan praised Decca Live as an incredible addition to the community. She emphasized its importance in enhancing the area’s appeal, especially around the stadium. According to her, it’s vital for the city to have entertainment options to keep people engaged.

The city has invested $1.5 million into this project. Decca Live is owned by a group that includes Eric Fuller, Evanc “Evan” Rajita, Aleksander Lukaj, and Shawn Rouf. These owners have deep ties to Jacksonville and have worked hard to bring their vision to life.

Fuller, a former University of North Florida student, envisions Decca Live as a central spot for arts and entertainment in the area. He mentioned their goal to feature a diverse range of performances, from country and rock to dance and hip hop. “We want this to be the live venue for Jacksonville,” he said.

The owners recognized a gap in the market for a 1,000-capacity venue that supports emerging artists as they gain popularity. Fuller noted that the venue has been built with careful attention to detail, including advanced sound systems and even a shower in the green room for performers.

With the opening of Decca Live, around 100 job opportunities are expected, ranging from lighting and sound technicians to security personnel.

The official launch is on January 31 and will feature the popular EDM artist Kaskade, an event that has already sold out.
