Film producer Ravindhar Chandrasekaran, aged 39 and related to Libra Productions Pvt. Ltd., has discovered himself in authorized bother. The Central Crime Branch’s Entrustment Document Fraud (EDF) Wing-I took motion, arresting Ravindhar Chandrasekaran on fees of investment fraud.

As per a report by The Hindu, the case stems from a grievance lodged by Balaji Kapa of Madav Media Pvt. Ltd. Balaji Kapa reported to the Greater Chennai Police Commissioner that in October 2020, Ravindhar Chandrasekaran approached him with a enterprise proposal.Â
The proposal concerned the conversion of municipal strong waste into power, for which Ravindhar sought monetary help. Consequently, an investment settlement was inked on September 17, 2020, with Mr Kapa offering an investment of Rs 15.83 crore.
However, what adopted was a breach of belief. Ravindhar didn’t provoke the power enterprise as promised and didn’t return the invested funds. In response to the grievance, the EDF initiated an investigation. Subsequently, it was found that Ravindhar Chandrasekaran had utilised solid paperwork to safe the investment from Mr. Kapa.
As a results of these findings, Ravindhar Chandrasekaran has been positioned in judicial custody.Â
