Get Ready: ASUS Unveils Stunning 32″ 6K ProArt Display Arriving This August!

ASUS is gearing up to release its 32-inch 6K ProArt Display PA32QCV, set to hit the market this August. This display aims to take on Apple’s Pro Display XDR and Studio Display. Originally previewed at CES earlier this year, it’s finally ready for launch.

The ProArt Display boasts a resolution of 6016 x 3384, with impressive color accuracy (Delta E>2) and a wide color gamut (98% DCI-P3). ASUS has calibrated each display for precise color settings, and there’s a dedicated P3 color preset for Mac users. This means you can adjust brightness, contrast, and color temperature easily with the DisplayWidget Center, and even control brightness directly from a Mac.

Both ASUS and Apple’s displays offer similar resolutions and pixel density, but the ProArt Display claims “sharp and easy-to-read” text, aiming to cater specifically to creative professionals. It supports HDR10 and VESA DisplayHDR 600, providing bright whites and deep blacks for high contrast.

One standout feature is the ambient light sensor, which adjusts the display’s brightness and color temperature based on surrounding lighting. ASUS also includes “LuxPixel” technology to reduce glare without sacrificing image quality.

A convenient Auto KVM feature allows users to switch between two Macs or PCs effortlessly with just one keyboard and mouse. The display is equipped with Thunderbolt 4 support, offering 96W power delivery for charging laptops like the MacBook Pro. Several ports, including HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and multiple USB options, provide ample connectivity.

In comparison to the Apple Pro Display XDR, the ASUS model may have slightly lower peak brightness and color accuracy, but it provides a more budget-friendly option with similar functionality. It will retail at $1,299 and is an attractive choice for those looking for high-quality display features without the hefty price tag.

Recent tech trends show an increasing interest in high-resolution displays, especially among creatives. According to a 2023 survey by DisplayMate, over 65% of professionals reported that display quality significantly impacts their work. ASUS’s proactive approach to meet this demand could resonate well in the market.

The ProArt Display PA32QCV aims to balance price and performance, making it a compelling choice for creatives seeking top-notch visual quality in a cost-effective package.
