NEW DELHI: As authorities focuses on monetisation of accomplished freeway projects, now most new development of nationwide highways (NHs) can be undertaken on Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode, as an alternative of totally authorities-funded works projects or EPC.
In a serious coverage shift, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will bid out practically 85% of the freeway projects on PPP. The street wing of the highways ministry, for the primary time, will even undertake some new projects with personal funding.
