Hamas has launched a video of an Israeli lady taken hostage in the course of the October 7 assaults that left over 1,300 useless and triggered a battle in Gaza. About 200 individuals have been reportedly taken hostage in the course of the assaults.

Israel Defense Forces have confirmed that Mia was kidnapped final week and mentioned officers have reached out to Mia’s household and are in contact with them.

“In the video published by Hamas, they try to portray themselves as humane. However, they are a horrorific terrorist organization responsible for the murder and abduction of babies, children, men, women and the elderly (sic),” a publish by IDF on X learn.

“At this time, we are deploying all intelligence and operational measures for the return of all hostages-including Mia,” the IDF added.

Miya’s household has responded to the clip, saying they’re comfortable to see her secure, in keeping with a report in The Times of Israel.

Miya is a twin Israeli-French citizen. Her household was amongst French households that appealed final week to France President Emmanuel Macron to assist free their relations, information company Reuters reported.
