Founded by former Ranji Trophy player Arjun Gupta, the brand aims to double its revenue from Rs 12 crore in FY 2025 to Rs 24 crore by FY 2030. They’re leveraging India’s rising interest in active lifestyles and a growing demand for stylish, functional sportswear.
Gupta sees KragBuzz as more than just another sportswear label. He believes it’s a thriving ecosystem created for Indian athletes and their supporters. “We’re here to fill gaps that global brands miss—like local fits, climate-friendly fabrics, and quick adaptations,” he explains.
Targeting Tier 2 and Tier 3 Cities
Recent trends show that nearly 60% of the future market for sportswear is expected to come from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. KragBuzz has focused its marketing strategies on these areas, partnering with schools and community sports clubs to engage young athletes. They sell not just through their own website, but also on platforms like Amazon and Flipkart to reach a broader audience.
“The goal is to become the go-to partner for sportswear, whether it’s a cricket league in Bihar or a college team in Coimbatore,” Gupta shares.
Manufacturing and Supply Chain
What sets KragBuzz apart is its efficient supply chain and in-house manufacturing, allowing for quick product replenishment. “We don’t keep large stocks from overseas—everything is made to meet current needs,” Gupta adds.
With about 50,000 units produced monthly, the brand is not only serving the Indian market but also supplying over 100 international institutions. They manufacture customized sports apparel and corporate uniforms, providing a wide range of designs and colors.
Building a Comprehensive Sports Ecosystem
KragBuzz operates under a larger umbrella that includes KragBuzz Sports Management for athlete training and Sportz O’Clock for digital sports content. This holistic approach underscores their vision to nurture sports in India at every level.
Global Aspirations
Currently, KragBuzz has a flagship store in Noida and is exploring growth opportunities in cricket-loving countries like the UAE, Australia, and the US. Gupta is optimistic, projecting a steady 10% growth rate and a future where KragBuzz stands as a noteworthy competitor in the global market.
