As many as 63 representatives from 28 political events will attend the third assembly of INDIA alliance meet on August 31 and September 1, NCP president Sharad Pawar stated on Wednesday.

Addressing a press convention right here, Mr. Pawar expressed confidence that the opposition alliance will provide a formidable alternative to bring about political change.

Mr. Pawar stated there was no dialogue on seat sharing within INDIA.

He stated there isn’t any confusion over NCP. “People will teach those who have left a lesson,” he added, focusing on estranged nephew Ajit Pawar who joined the Eknath Shinde-led authorities in Maharashtra final month.

Asked about BSP chief Mayawati, Mr. Pawar stated, “It just isn’t recognized on whose aspect she is. Earlier she has had dialogue with BJP.” Former chief minister and Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray said the alliance of opposition parties belonging to different ideologies has a typical goal of defending democracy.

On INDIA alliance PM face, Mr. Thackeray stated, “We have many decisions for PM candidates. But what alternative does BJP have, besides one.” To a query on the issue of who will be INDIA convenor, Mr. Thackeray asked, “who is NDA convenor.”

Former CM and senior Congress chief Ashok Chavan stated in 2019, non-BJP events received 23 crore votes, whereas BJP received 22 crore. “If we work collectively, we will win,” he added.
