Jeremy Allen White, acclaimed for his position in FX’s The Bear, is reportedly in discussions to step into the enduring sneakers of Bruce Springsteen for an upcoming movie centered on the creation of the legendary musician’s 1982 album, Nebraska. The film, tentatively titled Deliver Me From Nowhere, is about to be helmed by Scott Cooper and produced by Eric Robinson and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein of the Gotham Group, with A24 probably becoming a member of the undertaking, in accordance to experiences from Deadline.
Based on Warren Zanes’ guide, Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska, the movie will delve into the making of Springsteen’s seminal album, recognized for its uncooked and introspective tracks, recorded in Springsteen’s bed room on a four-track cassette just a few years earlier than he and the E Street Band would launch “Born in the U.S.A.”
White’s potential casting as Springsteen comes on the heels of his award-winning efficiency in The Bear and his position in A24’s The Iron Claw.
