JPMorgan Chase has begun rolling out a generative synthetic intelligence (AI) product, telling staff that its personal model of OpenAI’s ChatGPT can do the work of a research analyst, the Financial Times reported on Friday.
The lender, the most important within the United States, has given staff of its asset and wealth administration division entry to a big language mannequin referred to as LLM Suite, that helps them with writing, concept era and summarising paperwork, the report stated, citing an inside memo seen by FT.
JPMorgan began introducing LLM Suite to pockets of the financial institution earlier this 12 months and about 50,000 staff now have entry to it, the report added, citing folks conversant in the matter. Rival U.S. funding financial institution Morgan Stanley partnered with OpenAI and rolled out a GenAI powered chatbot final September, providing monetary advisors fast entry to all of Morgan Stanley’s mental capital.
JPMorgan declined to touch upon the report.
