Lady Chaps Aim for Victory at the Lubbock Sports College Invitational – Join the Excitement with Lubbock Christian University Athletics!

Lubbock, Texas (February 8, 2025) – Lubbock Christian University (LCU) is on a roll, winning six games in a row! They’ve even celebrated three shutout victories. Today, they host Adams State University (ASU) at 2 p.m. and Sul Ross State University (SRSU) at 4 p.m. These matches will take place at Maner Park.

LCU vs. ASU Highlights

– This game is the fourth matchup between LCU and ASU. LCU has won all three previous meetings.
– Just last Thursday, LCU crushed ASU 16-0, thanks to a massive 13-run inning. Key players included Yaya Kaaialii, who went 3-for-3 with 2 RBIs, and Bailey Hughes, who hit a home run and had 3 RBIs. The pitching duo of Ashlinn Hamilton and Berkley Browder kept ASU to just two hits.
– Before this season, LCU and ASU met twice during the 2023 Lubbock Sports Collegiate Invitational, where LCU won 10-2 and 9-1.

– Ashlinn Hamilton has been a standout player against ASU, pitching a complete game in their 10-2 victory last year and also contributing to the win in the second game.
