NEW DELHI: Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday stated that Budget-drafting underneath the Narendra Modi authorities is finished after an exhaustive train of consultations with stakeholders, and that energy brokers or lobbyists are usually not entertained anymore, not like beforehand.

Asked about Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s remarks like “useless” and “directionless” Budget, Sitharaman stated that the Budget is a severe doc to not create pleasure however to cater to the wants of the individuals and tackle their points. “Leaders should learn from the common man and express views after proper homework,” she stated.
