Luv Sinha posts ‘reason’ for not attending sister Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding with Zaheer Iqbal, deletes it later

Luv Sinha hinted that the explanation behind not attending sister Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding was her husband Zaheer Iqbal’s father Iqbal Ratansi. However, the actor has now deleted the submit.

On Sunday, Luv Sinha lastly confirmed that he did not attend sister Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding with Zaheer Iqbal. The actor had slammed the ‘on-line marketing campaign’ towards him for skipping the wedding festivities as he wrote on X, “Why I chose not to attend. Running an online campaign against me on a false premise won’t change the fact that for me my family will always come first.”

On Monday, Luv shared an excerpt from a Telegraph India article hinting why he did not attend the wedding. The excerpt learn, “With carefully curated news stories about his family business, nobody tread grey areas like the groom’s father’s proximity to a politician whose ED enquiries had vanished in the ‘washing machine’. Nor was there a whiff of the groom’s father’s stint in Dubai.”

He had additional written, “The reasons are very clear as to why I didn’t attend, and would not associate with some people no matter what. I’m glad a member of the media did their research instead of relying on creative stories being put out by a PR team”, implying that he did not want to get related with Zaheer’s father Iqbal Ratansi.

However, on Tuesday, Luv deleted that excerpt from his X feed and clarified that he hadn’t stated that quote. “The quote that is being incorrectly attributed to me is not my statement, and was written in an article by a senior journalist . The matter is now closed, and I will not be commenting on it any further”, he wrote.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot on June 23 in a civil marriage on the former’s new condo in Bandra West, Mumbai. The couple additionally held a lavish reception on the restaurant Bastian later within the evening, which was attended by a number of Bollywood celebrities.
