Mahindra & Mahindra is recalling over 1 lakh units of its sports activities utility automobile XUV700 to examine wiring routing in engine bay, as per a regulatory submitting.
The firm mentioned it can examine wiring loom routing within the engine bay of 1,08,306 units of XUV700 manufactured between June 8, 2021 and June 28, 2023 for a possible threat of abrasion minimize of wiring loom.
Also, 3,560 units of XUV400 autos manufactured between February 16, 2023 and June 5, 2023, will probably be inspected for ineffective spring return motion of the brake potentiometer, M&M mentioned.
The inspection and subsequent rectification will probably be carried out free of value for all prospects, who will probably be individually contacted by the corporate, the automaker mentioned.
The motion is in compliance with voluntary code on automobile recall, it added.
