Manchester United are closing in on offers for Joshua Zirkzee and Matthijs De Ligt now the Netherlands are out of Euro 2024. 

United boss Erik ten Hag has been hoping to get a deal over the road for each of his fellow countrymen as he will get set to start his third season at Old Trafford.

Talks have been ongoing with Bayern Munich over a possible £43million switch for De Ligt, who Ten Hag managed at Ajax, though a deal for the centre again might take till subsequent week as charge particulars with Bayern are ironed out.

It is known that De Ligt, who failed to play a minute for the Dutch at Euro 2024, is eager to reunite with Ten Hag.

Meanwhile, Mail Sport reported earlier this week how United have been anticipated to meet Zirkzee’s £34m launch clause within the coming days, with talks over a transfer for the Bologna ahead at a sophisticated stage.
