Dom Decker’s single in the eighth inning sealed the lead, and Mercer added more runs in the ninth.
On the mound, pitcher Nic Schutte put in a strong performance, striking out nine over 6.1 innings. Jacob Hustedde pitched effectively, while Graham Kelham secured the save.
