“No Sifarish (Recommendations)”: Bhagwant Mann on 25,000 Jobs In Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday requested the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs to work with honesty for the welfare of individuals.

Mr Mann, who threw open 25,000 jobs in varied state authorities departments on Saturday in his first Cabinet assembly, requested his get together MLAs to not include any “sifarish” (suggestions) for the vacant positions.

“Many will approach you for these jobs, but refrain from making any recommendations. There is no place for corruption in Aam Aadmi Party,” Mr Mann stated.

Unemployment has been one of many main points that the Aam Aadmi Party had raised in the course of the just-concluded state meeting polls. 

Addressing the get together MLAs, AAP National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal lauded the work of the brand new Chief Minister Of Punjab and stated he has “covered a lot of ground within just three days.”

“The government has begun working in Punjab,” stated Mr Kejriwal.

The assembly of the AAP MLAs was held in Mohali and Mr Kejriwal joined it through video conferencing from Delhi. 

Earlier, Mr Mann introduced that his authorities will launch an anti-corruption helpline quantity on March 23 that can permit folks to add movies of corrupt officers asking for a bribe or indulging in different malpractices

Bhagwant Mann took oath because the Chief Minister of the state on March 16. On Saturday, ten AAP MLAs have been inducted into his Cabinet.  

The AAP recorded a landslide victory within the Assembly elections successful 92 seats within the 117-member House.
