ONGC reports highest net profit of Rs 40,306 crore; becomes India’s 2nd most profitable firm – Answer99

State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) reported a report net profit of Rs 40,305 crore within the fiscal 12 months ended March 31, changing into India’s second most profitable firm behind Reliance Industries Ltd. In a press release, ONGC mentioned net profit for the fiscal FY22 (April 2021 to March 2022) soared 258 per cent to Rs 40,305.74 crore from Rs 11,246.44 crore within the earlier monetary 12 months.
