Prime Minister Narendra Modi provided prayers at the well-known Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand’s Rudraprayag district on Friday, October 21, 2022.
Wearing a white-coloured conventional apparel of the hill folks with a “swastika” image embroidered on it, the prime minister carried out a “puja” at the temple.
The Prime Minister is also scheduled to visit the Badrinath temple later within the day.
During his two-day tour of the State, Mr. Modi will examine varied ongoing improvement tasks and lay the inspiration stones of some new ones.
On his arrival at the Jolly Grant airport in Dehradun, the Prime Minister was acquired by Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Minister Ajay Bhatt.

After performing the puja at the Kedarnath temple, the Prime Minister will lay the inspiration stone of the 9.7-km Gaurikund-Kedarnath ropeway venture.
During his two-and-a-half-hour-long programme at Kedarnath, Mr. Modi can be scheduled go to the Samadhi Sthal of Adi Guru Shankaracharya.
At Badrinath Dham, the Prime Minister will evaluation the progress of the event tasks alongside the riverfront.
In the afternoon, Mr. Modi will lay the foundation stones of highway and ropeway tasks and tackle a gathering at Mana village. Thereafter, he’ll evaluation the progress of the beautification venture of the Arrival Plaza and the lakes within the space.
Security has been tightened across the two well-known hill temples in view of the Prime Minister’s go to. Both the temples have been embellished with quintals of flowers.
