Hyderabad City Police Commissioner C.V. Anand on Monday chaired an inter-department meeting to debate measures for smooth conduct of upcoming festivals equivalent to Sri Rama Navami and Hanuman Jayanti.

The meeting was co-chaired by GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar, and several other senior officers from Roads & Buildings, Electricity and Fire departments, and members from Sri Ramanavami Utsava Samithi, had been current.

Mr. Anand urged officers to streamline coordination for efficient work. He cited points confronted in processions final 12 months, and associated suggestions from numerous sources, to clarify issues that hindered smooth procession. Officials attending the meeting stated that numerous works equivalent to pruning of timber, barricading, highway repairs, illumination and cell transformers had been being taken up.
