We had previously reported that Rajinikanth is teaming up with TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame for his 170th movie which is tentatively titled Thalaivar 170. The movie went on flooring in Kerala earlier this month.
On Wednesday morning, Rajinikanth shared a photo with his movie’s co-star Amitabh Bachchan with whom he’s collaborating after 33 years.
The duo had beforehand shared display screen house in Hindi movies like Hum, Andhaa Kaanoon and Geraftaar.
Amitabh Bachchan took to his weblog the place he mentioned, “A new project has started today, the one with Rajnikant ji .. and getting together on a professional platform, has been coming in years.” Calling Rajini an “extraordinary human”, the veteran actor added, “His most down-to-earth dwelling and nature, his distinctive expertise and his legendary presence amongst the greats of cinema and never even going into the stratastrophic reputation that he has loved by means of many years and the love and affection he has had in direction of my household and me.
The movie options an ensemble solid that features Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan. Produced by Lyca Productions, the movie may have music by Anirudh.
