Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Thursday hit out at a information report on hurdles being confronted by semiconductor corporations, that are reportedly dealing with delays resulting from a lack of a supply for licensing the know-how to fabricate chips.

“You have to be ignorant to see India’s progress in last 12 months in Semicon and think its a “setback” – with many semicon design corporations permitted, semicon packaging proposals and mature node fab proposals acquired,” Mr. Chandrasekhar tweeted, citing the federal government’s determination to open — from Thursday onwards — purposes for incentives for a wider vary of semiconductor and show manufacturing amenities.
