The Department of Visual Communication, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Mysuru, can be organising the 6th nationwide stage quick film festival – Cinerama 2024 – at its premises in Bogadi II stage on February 16 and 17.

Apart from a contest for brief movies, the festival will function workshops and interactions with eminent useful resource individuals from the film business.

The occasion will function classes on film enhancing, content material acquisition on OTT platforms, scope of a profession in non-fiction leisure, apart from programmes on “Selected Takes” by film editor and director Appu N. Bhattathiri, “Tales over the Top” by Swati Sapna from Netflix India.

The festival goals at offering college students publicity to quick film making.

The organisers have invited quick movies from college students and professionals throughout India. The three finest entries can be given money prizes. While the most effective film will obtain ₹10,000, the second will get ₹7,000 and the third finest film will get ₹5,000.

Cash prizes can be offered for varied classes like Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Performer, Best Cinematographer, and Best Editor.
