A couple of days in the past, Soha Ali Khan posted {a photograph} of her daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu and nephew Taimur Ali Khan dressed up as Batgirl and Batman, which went viral instantly. The event was a detailed-knit household get-collectively organised by Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan at their Bandra dwelling. The ‘guests’ included Soha, her actor-husband Kunal Kemmu and Saif’s older kids, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, all of whom keep within the neighbourhood.

Inaaya and Taimur

“Both Inaaya and Taimur wanted to be Batman, nobody wanted to be Robin,” says Soha, laughing. Talking to BT about their mini household get-collectively, she provides, “We want Taimur and Inaaya to spend time with each other, they have to interact with kids their age. Inaaya is two-and-a-half years old and Taimur is just nine months older than her. Under normal circumstances, they would have been going to school and learning from their classmates. But, since that’s not possible, we decided to have a family reunion and luckily, we all stay close by. Inaaya listens to Taimur a lot, she tries to copy whatever he does and wants to be faster than him. As they say, when you have an older sibling, you try and learn faster.”

While the brother-sister duo keep within the neighborhood, their mom Sharmila Tagore resides in Delhi. Naturally, Soha is anxious concerning the well being of her 75-year-outdated mother. She says, “She stays alone, but thankfully, we have excellent staff at home, who has been working with us for years. We are constantly in touch via messages and do video calls on alternate days. She can lie about her health while messaging, but video calls pe sab sach dikhta hai. I want to go and see her, but I can’t leave Inaaya or travel with her. I am torn between my daughter and my mother. My mom calms me down, though. The thing with that generation is that they are very strong and take everything in their stride.”
