Spectacular Great Indian Cyclothon Wraps Up in Kanniyakumari: A Celebration of Cycling and Community!

The Great Indian Cyclothon recently wrapped up in Kanniyakumari, bringing together cyclists for an important cause. This initiative, themed “Surakshit Tat Samriddh Bharat” or “Secured Coast, Prosperous India,” aimed to highlight key issues regarding India’s coastline.

The event kicked off on March 7, 2025, led by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Cyclists embarked on an impressive 6,553-kilometer journey that spanned 25 days across 11 states and union territories. A total of 125 cyclists participated, raising awareness about coastal security and conservation.
