Amid large-scale preventing between Afghan forces and Taliban, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has stated that the fear group wouldn’t speak to the Afghanistan authorities till Asharaf Ghani stays the nation’s president.

Talking to international journalists in Islamabad, Imran Khan stated a political settlement was trying tough underneath present circumstances.

“I tried to persuade the Taliban… three to four months back when they came here,” Pakistan’s The News International quoted Imran Khan as saying.

“The condition is that as long as Ashraf Ghani is there, we (Taliban) are not going to talk to the Afghan government,” Mr Khan added.

Afghan authorities has been criticising Islamabad for elevating instability within the area as Kabul believes that Pakistan assists the Taliban in escalating violence in Afghanistan.
