Hayley Hasselhoff, daughter of actor David Hasselhoff, was seen in distress outside her mother’s home after Pamela Bach was found dead on Wednesday. Reports indicate she was “screaming and crying” as paramedics arrived.
Pamela Bach, who was 62, was married to David Hasselhoff from 1989 until their divorce in 2006. She appeared alongside him in popular TV series like “Knight Rider” and “Baywatch.” Her death is ruled a suicide, with the cause listed as a gunshot wound to the head.
Bach’s body was discovered in her $2 million home located in the Hollywood Hills. Family members had expressed concern for her well-being before the tragic finding. An autopsy was completed shortly after her death, and arrangements are being made for her funeral.
Neighbors recounted seeing Hayley enter and exit her mother’s house around the time of the incident. Hiromi Osiecki, a neighbor, described Hayley as “hysterical” and struggling to cope with the situation. “She was crying, saying ‘I just want to get my car,’” Osiecki said. The distress was evident as emergency responders arrived on the scene.
Pamela is survived by her two daughters, Hayley, 32, and Taylor, 34, as well as her granddaughter, London. David Hasselhoff expressed his sadness over Pamela’s passing, asking for privacy for their family during this tough time.
Hayley shared her grief on social media, posting an old picture of her parents together and adding a white heart emoji, a symbol of her love and remembrance.
