The Tripura authorities has determined to rechristen 75 border villages within the State after the names of freedom fighters who had sacrificed their lives in the course of the nation’s independence motion, a senior official mentioned on June 25.
The venture to rename 75 border villages can be taken up as half of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, an initiative to have a good time and commemorate 75 years of the nation’s independence and the fantastic historical past of its folks, tradition and achievements.
