Trump highlights Biden admin authorizing ‘deadly use of force’ in Mar-a-Lago raid

The Biden administration licensed the use of lethal pressure through the FBI’s raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property in Florida in August 2022 as half of its investigation into labeled information, court docket paperwork revealed.

“The FBI followed standard protocol in this search as we do for all search warrants, which includes a standard policy statement limiting the use of deadly force. No one ordered additional steps to be taken and there was no departure from the norm in this matter,” the FBI advised Fox News in a press release Tuesday. 

An “Operations Order” produced in discovery as half of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into Trump’s alleged improper retention of labeled information revealed that the “FBI believed its goal for the Mar-a-Lago raid was to grab ‘classified information, NDI, and US Government records,’” as described in the search warrant.

The order, based on a court docket submitting, contained a “Policy Statement” concerning “Use of Deadly Force,” which acknowledged, for instance, “Law Enforcement officers of the Department of Justice may use deadly force when necessary.”

According to the submitting, the DOJ and FBI brokers “planned to bring ‘Standard Issue Weapons,’ ‘Ammo,’ ‘Handcuffs,’ and ‘medium and large sized bolt cutters,’ but they were instructed to wear ‘unmarked polo or collared shirts’ and to keep ‘law enforcement equipment concealed.” 

Trump, who spent one other day in a New York City courtroom for his unprecedented prison trial stemming from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s investigation into Trump allegedly falsifying enterprise information, reacted to the revelations Tuesday afternoon.

“WOW! Trump was charged out of Smith’s investigation into his retention of labeled supplies. Trump pleaded not responsible to all 37 felony fees from Smith’s probe, together with willful retention of nationwide protection data, conspiracy to hinder justice, and false statements.

Trump was additionally charged with an extra three counts as half of a superseding indictment out of the investigation: a rely of willful retention of nationwide protection data and two obstruction counts.

Trump pleaded not guilty.

The federal choose presiding over the case, Judge Aileen Cannon of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, postponed the trial stemming from Smith’s case indefinitely. The trial was set to start May 20.
