UMass Tennis Battles Hard but Falls Short Against Boston University: A 4-2 Showdown

AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts tennis team faced a tough match against Boston University, losing 4-2 on Friday at the Bay Road Indoor Tennis Center.

Boston University started strong, winning the doubles point. Blanka DeMicheli and Madison Liu defeated UMass’s Ella Faessler and Amelia Tye 6-4 at No. 2. Meanwhile, Nina Gulbransen and Emily Zhao had a dominant performance against Martina Pavissich and Owethu Makhanya, winning 6-0 at No. 3.

In singles, UMass fought back and secured two points. Belle Jonglertrakul won her match at No. 3 against Liu with a score of 6-3, 7-6(6).
