Mani Ratnam‘s ‘Yuva‘ which launched in 2004 is ready to full 20 years this week. The movie continues to be a memorable one for its story, performances and music. It starred Ajay Devgn, Esha Deol, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Vivek Oberoi and Kareena Kapoor Khan. As the movie is ready to have a good time twenty years, Vivek recalled recollections on the film in a latest interview.
Vivek recalled that he had a horrible accident on the units of the movie and had damaged his leg into three items. ‘Yuva’ had launched a yr after Vivek had reportedly damaged up with Aishwarya Rai. But as he cherished recollections on the film at the second, he known as Abhishek his ‘buddy’ and shared how Ajay and Abhishek had been by his facet all by way of. Vivek informed Times Now, “A perfectly fun day turned into pain with a terrible motorcycle accident breaking my left leg in three places. I remember my big brother Ajay and my buddy Abhishek at my side, carrying me to the hospital, being my side through the agony of broken bones tearing through my skin with blood everywhere.”
Seeing Vivek’s accident, Mani Ratnam had a heart-attack, revealed Vivek. He further added, “Worse was but to come. I got here to know Mani Anna had a coronary heart assault after witnessing my accident. Whilst each of us had been recovering in the hospital, Ajay and Abhishek had been with me, lifting my spirits with jokes and painkillers in a not-so-lucid state.” Vivek stated it took him 4 months to get better.
He went again on the set limping and completed taking pictures for the songs ‘Fanaa’ and ‘Anjaana Anjani’. But now when he thinks of it right now, Vivek wonders how he pulled it off.
Meanwhile, Abhishek got a lot of accolades and awards for ‘Yuva’. His chemistry with Rani in the film and the tune ‘Kabhi Neem Neem’ had been beloved immensely.
