Not all the demonstrators supporting Palestinians have been Northwestern University college students. Laura Paz (left) and Timi Papas joined a whole lot on Deering Meadow. “We are not anti-Jewish by any means,” stated Paz. “We support Jewish people. We just think the Palestinians should not suffer.” Papas, a member of Neighbors for Peace, texted fellow members earlier than speeding to the campus. If she had energy, Papas stated: “I’d tell the Israelis and Palestinians to get their act together.” Both admire the demonstrators. “They’re amazing,” Papas said. “That’s what students do,” stated Paz. “They have a little bit more time than us.
