The Moroccan authorities gave the inexperienced gentle on Friday for Chinese electrical battery maker BTR New Material Group to build a manufacturing facility close to Tangier to produce key part cathode.
The plant, to be constructed at a price of three billion dirhams ($300 million), may have a manufacturing capability of 50,000 tonnes, Morocco‘s funding ministry stated.
The first output of 25,000 tonnes is predicted in September 2026, the ministry stated in a press release following the signing of the funding take care of BTR.
