Mocky Khan, the primary Asian mayor of Didcot and Labour chief on South Oxfordshire and Didcot Town councils, stated it was “such an honour” to be selected.

He stated: “I’m passionate in regards to the local weather, training, supporting our native companies, offering a voice to people who are underrepresented and defending our nice NHS, commerce unions and welfare system.

“In the coming months, I will have much more to say on these issues.”

He stated as a councillor he has been preventing for improved facilities and infrastructure such as dentists, colleges and GP surgical procedures and lobbying for a brand new minor accidents unit at Didcot Community Hospital.

He stated he would marketing campaign for extra reasonably priced properties to be constructed, to advertise alternatives for younger individuals and weak residents and to reinforce connectivity between South Oxfordshire cities and villages by bettering cycle lanes and bettering public transport hyperlinks.
