The final rites of BJP MP and former Minister V. Srinivas Prasad will likely be carried out as per Buddhist rituals on the B.R. Ambedkar Educational and Cultural Trust on Mananthavadi Road in Mysuru on April 30.

The physique of Mr. Prasad, who handed away in a personal hospital in Bengaluru on April 29, was dropped at his residence in Jayalakshmipuram in Mysuru within the morning, the place a big quantity of dignitaries and his followers paid their final respects.

The physique was later taken to NTM School in Ashokapuram, the place Mr. Prasad was born and grew up, and stored for public viewing.
