A music pageant that pulls tens of 1000’s of individuals to Atlanta’s Piedmont Park is not going to happen this year.

Posts Wednesday on the Instagram web page and web site of Music Midtown, a longtime fixture for pop music lovers, says the pageant is “going on hiatus this year.”
The posts didn’t clarify why. An e-mail to the pageant’s producer, Live Nation, was not instantly returned.
The pageant has featured massive artists through the years, together with Pearl Jam and Coldplay. Last year’s lineup included Billie Eilish and Guns N’ Roses.
