ROUND 1 (21ST OVERALL) – WR KC CONCEPCION, TEXAS A&M
The Steelers have a new weapon in Michael Pittman Jr., but they still need to add speed to their receiving corps. Texas A&M’s KC Concepcion fits the bill. He’s quick and tough to take down, making him a valuable asset. Though he had some focus drops in college, he was a standout playmaker and earned All-American honors.
ROUND 2 (53RD OVERALL) — iOL GENNINGS DUNKER, IOWA
After losing Isaac Seumalo, the Steelers must bolster their offensive line. Gennings Dunker has shown solid performance at Iowa and would be a great fit at guard beside talented players. He excels in both run blocking and pass protection, which is crucial for the team’s future success.
ROUND 3 (76TH OVERALL, FROM COWBOYS) — CB DAYLEN EVERETTE, GEORGIA
With Jamel Dean and Asante Samuel Jr. signed, the Steelers still need depth at cornerback. Daylen Everette from Georgia could be that guy. He’s known for his size and physical play, which the Steelers value. While he’s not yet perfect, he has time to grow in Pittsburgh’s supportive environment.
ROUND 3 (85TH OVERALL) — QB DREW ALLAR, PENN STATE
Even with the excitement around Will Howard, the Steelers might want to take a chance on Penn State’s Drew Allar. He has the tools to be a franchise quarterback but needs to improve consistency. With the right coaching, he could reach his potential.
ROUND 3 (99TH OVERALL) — OT MARKEL BELL, MIAMI (FL)
Left tackle remains a concern, especially with Broderick Jones’ health uncertain. Markel Bell could offer a developmental option. He has the size and athleticism needed to succeed at the professional level, making him an intriguing pick.
ROUND 4 (121ST OVERALL) — WR/KR KADEN WETJEN, IOWA
With Calvin Austin III gone, the Steelers need a new return specialist. Kaden Wetjen from Iowa won the Jet Award two years in a row. While he may not be a star receiver, his return skills could be a game-changer for the team.
ROUND 4 (135TH OVERALL, COMPENSATORY) — DL DEMONTE CAPEHART, CLEMSON
The Steelers need to add youth to their defensive line after signing Sebastian Joseph-Day. DeMonte Capehart has been gaining attention lately. He’s versatile and solid against the run, making him worth a later-round pick.
ROUND 5 (161ST OVERALL) — CB EPHESIANS PRYSOCK, WASHINGTON
Securing more depth at cornerback is a smart move. Ephesians Prysock has the size and potential the Steelers look for in a defensive back. While he’s still developing, having him as a future option is wise.
ROUND 6 (216TH OVERALL, COMPENSATORY) — LB RED MURDOCK, BUFFALO
The Steelers have depth at linebacker but could still use some youth. Red Murdock is a strong option with a record of forced fumbles and tackles in college. Despite an injury slowing him down, he could be a valuable player.
ROUND 7 (224TH OVERALL, FROM PATRIOTS) — FB/TE MAX BREDESON, MICHIGAN
With a need for a fullback, Max Bredeson could fill that role. Known for his toughness and NFL family background, he can also contribute to special teams.
ROUND 7 (230TH OVERALL, FROM COLTS) — S LORENZO STYLES, OHIO STATE
A late-round pick for special teams could be Lorenzo Styles. He has shown promise and could provide depth at safety. His Combine performance highlighted his strength and speed.
ROUND 7 (237TH OVERALL) — iOL MICAH MORRIS, GEORGIA
Wrapping up the draft, Micah Morris could be a valuable depth addition to the offensive line. His size and strength make him a player worth developing for the future.
