34 Duke Blue Devils Shine on All-ACC Academic Team: Celebrating Academic Excellence!

DURHAM, N.C. – Big news for Duke rowing! Thirty-four team members made it to the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team.

Standout athletes include Lauren Brandmeyer, Nora Conaty, Noelle Fuchs, and several others. Many of these students have achieved this honor three times, showcasing their dedication both on the water and in the classroom. Eleven athletes received their second selection this year, such as Jane Atkeson and Vivienne Foley.

Twelve athletes celebrated their first All-ACC nods, including Roslyn Bellscheidt and Kina Desai. The selection process isn’t easy; students need at least a 3.0 GPA for the past semester and their entire academic journey. They must also have competed in either the ACC or NCAA Championships.

This achievement isn’t just numbers; it reflects the hard work and commitment these athletes put forth. Balancing academics with sports can be tough. It requires discipline and resilience—skills that can be valuable beyond college.

Statistics show that student-athletes often excel academically, with studies indicating they maintain a higher GPA than the general student population.
